Daily Job Site Analysis
Discussion of potential hazards on the project, in the work, and with the equipment used to perform the work. This function allows us to identify changes in the work and the conditions of the work as it evolves.
Daily Tailboard
Discussion on a particular subject relevant to the work which we are performing. This function allows for in-depth discussion on safety matters important to the employees health and well being.
Weekly Foreman Meetings
Discussion on means and methods to reduce known hazards, potential hazards and minimize unsafe work procedures or habits observed in the field.
Safety Committee
Comprised of management and field personnel to identify unsafe work practices and implement change in an effort to incorporate the needs and concerns of all employees.
Employee Safety Incentives
Initiative to reward employees for safe work practices and actions.
Training
Excellent training program in 10 hour OSHA certifications, 30 hour OSHA certifications, competent person certification, CPR training, and first aid to name a few.
Screening
Pre-employment substance abuse as well as random substance abuse screening in an effort to maintain a safe work environment.
Inform
Our safety department produces a monthly newsletter to inform employees of incidents, corrective action, and achievements as well as changes in the safety program to promote awareness and praise.
Inspect
Pre-construction stage one job hazard analysis is conducted prior to project kick-off to ensure proper equipment, personnel and PPE is available.
